A third generation Angeleno, Mr. DeLossa brings ten years of legal experience working with major motion picture studios, television networks, and independent production companies to his law practice. His primary focus is on entertainment transactions and entertainment litigation.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. DeLossa worked at Kelly Drye & Warren, LLP, where he was a senior associate in the firm's Media and Entertainment practice group and at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, where he was an associate in the firm's Entertainment, Media & Technology practice group.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. DeLossa worked for more than a decade in the entertainment business as a writer, producer and executive producer working in the music video, commercial, and broadcast design arenas.
Mr. DeLossa received his juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was on the Scoot Moot Court Board, was a member of the National Moot Court Team, and was an Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Review. He received First Honors (top student) in Secured Transactions and First Amendment Seminar. Mr. DeLossa was also a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society.
Mr. DeLossa received his bachelor of arts degree in Italian from the University of Oregon, where he was a member of the men's track and field team and the men's crew team.
He is still an avid runner, a life-long film buff, and recent comic book convert.
