About 

​Richard DeLossa is a seasoned entertainment attorney who brings over fifteen years of legal experience working with major motion picture studios, television networks, independent production companies, and talent to his law practice. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. DeLossa worked at Kelly Drye & Warren, LLP in the firm's Media and Entertainment practice group and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP in the firm's Entertainment, Media & Technology practice group for clients such as ABC, CBS, The CW, Fox, NBC, Disney, MGM, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers.

 

Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. DeLossa worked for more than a decade in the entertainment business on music videos, commercial productions, and broadcast design and on-air promotions and has been a writer/copywriter, editor, producer, and executive producer.

 

Mr. DeLossa received his B.A. from the University of Oregon and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.  He received First Honors in Secured Transactions and First Amendment Seminar, and was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society. He was an Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Review, was on the Scoot Moot Court Board, and was a member of the National Moot Court Team.
